Blackberry and Windows Mobile Clients

VoiceRite Mobile ClientsPDA's and Smart-phones are powerful tools, relied upon by businesses more and more each day. The VoiceRite Blackberry and Windows Mobile Clients augment your wireless devices capabilities by allowing you to control all business communications from a single device. By making it easier for users to manage their telephone calls and messages, the VoiceRite Mobile Clients improve employee productivity and mobility. In addition, employees are easier to reach because their greetings and find-me/follow-me settings are easily updated based on their location (work, work at home, traveling, etc.).

The VoiceRite Mobile Clients connect your Blackberry or Windows Mobile 6 device to IBM’s Unified Messaging. This solution can connect multiple brands of TDM or VoIP PBX's in separate locations, to a single, centralized Unified Messaging system. The combination of the VoiceRite Mobile Clients and IBM Unified Messaging allows users to be in control of their real time and stored communications, regardless of where business takes them.

Voice Messaging:
The Blackberry and Windows Mobile Clients automatically synchronize with the IBM Unified Messaging server. This provides remote access without having to call into a voice mail box and enter a password. A Visual User Interface (VUI) improves workflow, making it easy to play back, reply to, forward, or delete messages, all  without having to wait for downloads. Synchronization also allows the VUI to display caller information, (such as name, employer, phone number, and email address) retrieved from corporate CRM, LDAP, and HR databases.

IBM Unified Messaging also allows the user to point all of their phones to their single office voice mail box. Messages will never be missed because they were left in an overlooked mail box again.

Office, mobile, and home-office phones direct all voice mail to the IBM Unified Messaging server. The Blackberry and Windows Mobile Clients automatically synchronize with the server and make those messages available to the user.

Greetings and Call Handling:
For highly mobile workers, the Blackberry and Windows Mobile Clients give users control over your office phone’s greetings and call handling. Here are some scenarios you might be familiar with where having a mobile voice mail client can make a real difference:

Being stuck in traffic might call for a simple greeting instructing callers to leave a message, and ensuring callers that you will be returning their call shortly. By selecting the greeting "Available, but away from the office", from the greetings menu, the caller will hear the users prerecorded message: “You’ve reached Marc Fifter. I’m away from my office right now, but I check my voice mail often, and will return your call within an hour.”

Automatic Call Forwarding
When a user is expecting a call but has been pulled away from their office, they can choose to set a Reach Me number. Reach Me numbers allows callers to decide if they need to reach users immediately, or leave a message and wait for a reply. When users enter a Reach Me number callers will have the option to reach users at an alternate number just by pressing the number three at the prompt.
