Josh Schrager, CEO and Founder
Joshua Schrager is the CEO and owner of VoiceRite, having founded VoiceRite in 1986, a year after graduating from high school. He is a visionary entrepreneur, responsible in helping develop product strategy and company direction.
Mr. Schrager led the innovation and development of one of the first Fax-On-Demand systems in 1988 and integration of alphanumeric paging with IBM’s Voice Response in 1992. He also led the development of one of the world’s first unified messaging systems for IBM, POET, which was integrated with IBM’s OfficeVision/VM, was deployed to 54 sites inside of IBM, served as IBM’s mobility telephony solution for its employees, and was sold by IBM to external customers from 1993 to 2000.
Mr. Schrager has been instrumental in providing vision, direction and support to IBM’s CIO Office and voice product group for more than fifteen years. He is also provides the drive and innovative force behind VoiceRite’s leading-edge product design.
Josh graduated Florida International University with a B.A. in MIS and Marketing.

Marc Thomas, President
Marc Thomas joined VoiceRite in May 2003 as Vice President of Business Development and was subsequently appointed to President in January 2004 to assist VoiceRite in the expansion and diversification of its business. Since joining, Mr. Thomas has established a capable and experienced management team, and has led VoiceRite in building a multi-faceted strategic partnership with Cisco and creating a strong product portfolio of compelling and uniquely positioned software assets.
Mr. Thomas is an entrepreneurial leader with fourteen years experience in providing cutting edge voice software solutions to the enterprise and service provider marketplace. In 1994, he co-founded Technology Control Services, Inc. (TCS), a leading developer and application service provider of software and systems for telecom service providers, specializing in unified messaging, speech IVR applications, prepaid calling, and VoIP softswitch technologies. Mr. Thomas served on the TCS Board of Directors from 1994 to 1998, and held various executive management roles while with TCS until it was acquired by Convergent Networks, Inc. in July of 2000.

Jim Holden, Director Strategic Alliances
Jim handles the IBM partnership and all related sales activities for VoiceRite. Before VoiceRite, Jim provided consultation on voice technologies to the IBM office of the Corporate CIO and was Director of Business Development for Intellisource Group focused on their outsourced voice and messaging business.
Jim brings to VoiceRite his nearly 15 years of expertise as a leader and visionary in voice and unified messaging in the IBM office of the Corporate CIO. |

Jeff Engle, Director of Marketing
Jeff's role at VoiceRite is focused on product and corporate marketing. That covers everything from product requirements and marketing collateral creation to market research and internal marketing & sales tool creation.
Most recently, Jeff was Director of Marketing at hosted speech application vendor NetByTel, which pioneered the hosting of VoiceXML IVR with customers such as Office Depot. Before that Jeff was Director of Product Management at Voice Control Systems, one of the early speech technology companies that was merged with Purespeech, purchased by Phillips Speech and spun off to Nuance.
Jeff has a BSEE from Northeastern University and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University. |
